A Mission Partner is...

CMS mission partners combine professional skills with Christian commitment and take on the challenge of serving God with a local church in a different culture. CMS mission partners work under the authority of local church leaders or local managers of church institutions, or under the auspices of united missions. People are placed at the specific request of partner churches.

CMS mission partners include clergy, development workers, theological educators, teachers, doctors, nurses and other health professionals.

As well as working for a local church, mission partners are linked to a number of churches in this country. They are supported and encouraged by their link churches and provide them with an insight to life in another culture.
